Intimate Wedding at Bjorklunden in Door County

These two made big changes to their wedding plans this year. They greatly downsized their wedding guest list in order to keep their date in light of concerns over covid. All the changes were not without stress but the day turned out absolutely beautifully!

As a photographer, my hope and intention has always been to be able to capture intimate and raw moments for my clients. Over the years, more and more couples have approached me about capturing their smaller, intimate weddings. What I’ve learned from shooting these kinds of events is that intimate and meaningful moments are intentional choices, and even though covid may have been the catalyst for many in 2020, these events are very much chosen… and they take a massive amount of unseen effort to come about. I’m so happy to see so many couples this year choosing to create these small and magical happenings.

Caroline and Dan held their small ceremony at Bjorklunden in the tiny Norwegian style Chapel located in Baileys Harbor, WI and a family friend hosted their wedding dinner at a private home in Sister Bay, catered by Alexander’s. The beautiful flower arraignments were done by Flora Flower Shop.
